MIG welding is an arc welding process in which a continuous solid wire electrode is fed through a welding gun and into the weld pool, joining the two base materials together. A shielding gas is also sent through the welding gun and protects the weld pool from contamination. In fact, MIG stands for metal inert gas.if you want to learn about tig and how it is diffrent form mig and stick click here to get to are next page! TIG.
mig is diffrent from all the other processces in so many ways, one of them being that they have flux cord mig welding. you may ask what is the diffrence between mig and flux cord? the answer is that flux cord uses a filler wire and mig uses a solid electric wire so its just simply chageing the wire and the machine settings.
